Hi, I’m Emma Kennedy a Calgary-based photographer, creative director, and retoucher with a love for visual storytelling that started when I picked up my first camera at 14. I was heavily inspired (and influenced) by fashion magazines from a young age and dream't of one day being part of that world. I’ve spent the last 15+ years building a career that blends editorial flair with meaningful connection.

I learned the foundations of photography in high school, but everything else from lighting to high-end retouching, I taught myself through many late nights and endless hours on YouTube. That same passion and drive fuel my work today, whether I’m capturing the bold energy of a fashion campaign, the soul of a personal brand, or the incredible magic of a wedding day.

My style is clean, editorial, and versatile. I love dramatic light just as much as natural warmth, think fashion-forward with a touch of People Magazine realness. I bring that balance into everything I shoot: timeless portraits, branding imagery, and most recently, weddings photographed with a documentary heart and a stylistic edge.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m probably traveling, dreaming up concepts, or with my fiancé and cat.
